Friends Throw a Parade for Cancer Patient
Back in January, Amy Kleiner was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer. She understood it would be a long, rough road, but she also knew that she had a great support group in her friends and family.
Her support system helped her not only with her diagnosis but in all the months to come and in all the chemo treatments to follow.
Tera Kiser, Amy’s neighbor, and best friend organized a parade of family and friends to celebrate the final (the 20th) round of chemo.
“I just felt like the Lord gave me the idea,” Kiser, 41, told the TODAY Show. “The minute she pulled into the neighborhood we could have people there with signs just to celebrate her last treatment.”
Now that’s a great example of #beingbetterhumans
